DESCRIPTION
Geraldine Varichon decided to combine clothing and plastic arts by creating her own fashion workshop under the brand name “La Piscine” in 1999.
Following a performance in a video art festival in October 1999, Kei Nagashima, manager of the Takumi Studio art and design gallery, offered her a 6 months artist’s residence in Japan.
For the Spring-Summer 2006 collection, La Piscine takes us to a new world. We can find fluid, smoke-likebustier-dresses, with squares of flashy or pastel colour mixed with the military spirit of khaki tones.
